Vigro Deep’s journey with music began at a young age, and by 2017, he was already producing beats and songs. Despite his love for music, he faced challenges balancing fame and academics and made the tough decision to drop out of school in the 10th grade to pursue his music career full-time.
Musical career
Specializing in the amapiano genre—a fusion of house, jazz, and kwaito music—Vigro Deep quickly made a name for himself as a pioneering DJ in the scene. At just 17 years old, he released his debut album, “Baby Boy,” followed by “Baby Boy 2 Reloaded” and “Baby Boi III” in 2019. Some of his hit tracks include “Vula Vala” featuring Nokwazi, “Come To Me,” “Kamogelo,” “Abashwe (Pheli Bass Mix),” “Untold Story,” and “Bundle of Joy.” His collaboration on “Ke Star” with Focalistic became an African hit, further cementing his status in the industry.
Beyond South Africa, Vigro Deep has taken his music to international stages, performing in countries like Botswana, Mozambique, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. He’s also hosted his show, “Vigro Deep One Man Show,” featuring top-notch guests like Busiswa, A-Reece, and Njelic.
