Smiso Zwane, known by his stage name Okmalumkoolkat, was born on July 27, 1983, in the vibrant township of Umlazi, Durban. He grew up immersed in the rich culture and sounds of his surroundings, which would later influence his music. In Johannesburg, Okmalumkoolkat met Doctor SpiZee, and together they formed the dynamic rap/electronic duo Dirty Paraffin. Their unique blend of genres caught the attention of music lovers, propelling them into the spotlight.
