Born and raised in Diphale, Burgersfort, Chymamusique’s journey into the world of music began in the early 2000s when he started playing the piano. His love for music led him to explore various genres, including gospel and jazz. However, it was his fascination with house music that ultimately captured his heart, prompting him to delve into music production in 2006.

After completing his matric in 2007, Chymamusique pursued higher education, studying Analytical Chemistry at the University of Technology. Alongside his scientific pursuits, he also pursued his passion for media, graduating from Boston College in 2013.
Throughout his career, Chymamusique has made significant strides in both DJing and music production. He founded and manages “Chymamusique Records” and is affiliated with esteemed record labels such as House Afrika and Soul Candi. From 2010 to 2013, he was a member of Mofunk Records, where he honed his craft and gained valuable experience in the industry.
As a DJ, Chymamusique has graced stages both locally and internationally, sharing the spotlight with renowned artists such as Vinny Da Vinci, Ralf Gum, and Atjazz. In the realm of music production, he has collaborated with a plethora of talented musicians, including Kaylow, DJ Fresh, and Monique Bingham.
In September 2021, Chymamusique delighted fans with the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, “Musique.” Featuring a lineup of talented artists such as Afrotraction and Da Vynalist, the album soared to the top of the Local iTunes album charts, solidifying Chymamusique’s status as a powerhouse in the music industry.
