Peta Teanet (June 1966 – July 13, 1996) was a renowned South African disco musician of Shangaan descent. Born and raised in Thapane village, Bolobedu South at Ga-Modjadji, he attended Kgwekgwe High School in Moleketla Village, Bolobedu South. Fluent in Shona, he even sang songs in the language.
